Ophelia

Ophelia is an original one-woman show written and performed by Hannah Roze-Lewis. Inspired by Shakespeare's Ophelia, and the Cumbrian landscape and folklore it explores growing up with mental health issues in a rural community.

Last summer we worked on an Arts Council funded R&D of Ophelia and are currently preparing to tour 2024-25.

Dear Beryl

An original two-woman dark comedy exploring poverty, technology, and social media, Dear Beryl completed an Arts Council funded Research & Development period in 2021.

I Am Not Your Woman

An original play written by Hannah Roze-Lewis (5*, British Theatre Guide) explored society’s response to sexual assault and victim- blaming and encouraged conversations around #MeToo.
It was performed at The Edinburgh Fringe and later the Black-E Studio, Liverpool.

Macbeth

Our first live theatre project engaged young Cumbrian people aged 9-23, with classical text. Most of whom had never performed Shakespeare before and the project aimed to raise confidence and remove elitist barriers attached to the work.
